| 背景资料 | Transcription factor SOX-9 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SOX9 gene. The protein encoded by this gene recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. It acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone (AMH) gene. Deficiencies lead to the skeletal malformation syndrome campomelic dysplasia, frequently with sex reversal. |

Lane 1: human HepG2 whole cell lysatesLane 2: human PC-3 whole cell lysates -SOX9 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (Catalog # A00177-2) at 0.5 μg/mL overnight at 4°C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody . The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit (Catalog # EK1002) A specific band was detected for SOX9 at approximately 70KD. The expected band size for SOX9 is at 56KD.
